Our Greenwich Campus is open as normal but is undergoing a rebuild. The new state-of-the-art campus will benefit our students, staff, and community by providing a modern, flexible, and inspiring teaching and learning environment.

Temporary access to Greenwich Campus in Villas Road

Our main Greenwich Campus, set on the border of Plumstead and Woolwich, is the leading local provider of 16-18 vocational courses, adult education and some higher education programmes. Key features include the hair and beauty salon ‘Salon95’and the student-led restaurant GMT cafe.

Location

Our Greenwich Campus is located in Plumstead – a culturally rich, lively and colourful area within south-east London. Woolwich Market is also close by as well as a huge variety of restaurants and shops. While we are building our new campus, the entrance to the College has moved from Plumstead Road to Villas Road. The entrance can be found via the college car park.

RAIL

Plumstead, Woolwich Arsenal, North Woolwich (with Woolwich Ferry or foot tunnel to bus connections), Jubilee Line goes to North Greenwich (will need to use short bus connection to Plumstead).

North Greenwich is the nearest tube and is served by the Elizabeth Line.

PARKING

There is limited street parking and, where possible, we advise travel by public transport.

Facilities

Students at our Greenwich site can access various facilities, including the new student-led restaurant GMT Cafe, a hair and beauty salon ‘Salon95’ and a Learning Resource Centre.

Learning Resource Centres (LRCs)

Our LRCs are large open-plan areas with an excellent range of books and other learning materials (including online) to support your studies. Our helpful staff is on hand to guide and support you.

Multi-faith Prayer Room

All London South East College students have access to quiet, multi-faith prayer rooms where they can practice private worship.

Cafés

We have a range of cafes, where you'll find a large selection of homemade hot main dishes, salads, cakes and sweets. We cater for most dietary needs and offer a wide range of foods to suit all tastes. Our cafes are open to all staff and students throughout the day (and some evenings)

Student Common Rooms

Outside of classes and tutorials, you can unwind with friends in one of our Common Rooms. Our Common Rooms are equipped with various snack machines, table tennis tables pool tables, and great places to socialise and make new friends.
