What you will study
Split into bitesized units you will complete 3 mandatory:
- Customer service in the Hospitality Industry
- Introduction to the Hospitality Industry
- Health and Safety and Food safety Awareness in catering
In addition, you will also complete the following units:
- Basic food preparation and cooking
- Food allergies and intolerance
- Using kitchen equipment
- Digital skills for work
- Money, time and temperature
- Working in a team
- Speak to communicate

Entry Requirements
There are no entry requirements but if you don’t have any qualifications you will be asked to take an English and maths test.

Assessment
Assessment is by course work and assignments, which are both internally and externally assessed

You can move on to a level 2 Professional Cookery course
