Greenwich Campus is changing

In partnership with our development partner, L&Q, we submitted plans to redevelop our Greenwich campus to the Royal Borough of Greenwich. Our plans were approved on 20 July 2021.

We expect to open the new campus in September 2025.

The proposals mark an exciting new chapter in the college’s history. The new state-of-the-art facility will provide a range of benefits to our students, staff and to our community. It will:

  • Provide a modern, flexible and inspiring teaching and learning environment for our students.
  • Enable us to diversify and strengthen the curriculum offer and generate new skills, training and employment opportunities for local people.
  • Make an important contribution to the borough’s housing targets by providing 294 new high-quality homes, including 51.9% affordable housing by habitable room and 21% family housing, making an important contribution to the borough’s housing targets.
  • Improve public spaces with generous tree planting, which will improve the look and feel of the area.
  • Place an emphasis on green and sustainable travel, including cycle parking.
  • Delivered in phases so the college can remain open and operational throughout construction.
