Entry Requirements
Applicants should have one or more of the following:
- BTEC Level 3 qualification
- GCE Advanced Level profile that demonstrates strong performance in a relevant subject
- Other related Level 3 qualification
- We will accept T Levels for entry onto our higher education courses, providing they meet our entry requirements.
- Access to Higher Education Diploma
- An international equivalent of the above Achievement of GCSE grades A* to C or 9 to 4 in English and maths is preferred. Relevant industry experience will also be considered. Applicants for the Bromley Football Club Pathway will also be required to participate in football trials to demonstrate a good standard of playing ability.

Assessment
Pearson BTEC HNC combines a student-centred approach with a flexible, unit-based structure. Students are required to apply their knowledge to a variety of assignments and activities, with a focus on the holistic development of practical, interpersonal and higher level thinking skills. Assessment reflects not only what the student knows, but also what they can do, in employment.

Progression
Students can progress straight into employment within the sports industry or continue with us to study the Level 5 Higher National Diploma in Sport.

The course is comprised of 8 units, including:
- Three Core Mandatory Units: Physical activity, lifestyle and health, the sport landscape and project management (Pearson-set)
- Two Specialist Mandatory Units: Activity leadership and inclusive sport
- Three Optional Units: Technology in sport, working with young people and work exposure

Although we aim to minimise any additional costs to students over and above the course tuition fee, there will be some additional costs which students are expected to meet these include:

- Library Fees and Fines - If you fail to return loaned items within the required time you will be responsible for the cost of any fees or fines applicable
- Printing and photocopying - You will need to cover the cost of any printing or photocopying undertaken to support your learning
