This course is the final level of AAT Accounting and covers higher-level accounting tasks. At this level, you can specialise in areas from tax to auditing.

The Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) is the professional body for qualified accounting technicians or support staff in accounting or finance functions.

    • Applied Management Accounting
    • Drafting and Interpreting Financial Statements
    • Internal Accounting Systems and Controls
    • Audit and Assurance (Orpington Campus) or Business Tax (Plumstead Campus)
    • Personal Tax
  • Entry Requirements

    You will need to be over the age of 19 at the beginning of the academic year to enrol for this course and hold a Accounting AAT Level 3 Diploma You will be expected to attend an interview

  • Assessment

    You will have your skills and knowledge tested using computer-based assessments (CBA). Computer-based assessments are exams booked through the College, and you will need to practice and revise in your own time.

  • Moving Forward

    Employment in various accountancy positions such as Accounts Assistant, Taxation or Account Managerial. Can progress onto ACCA or CIMA to specialise in either Financial or Management Accounting

  • Duration

    1 Year

    Additional costs will include:

    • AAT registration, which is a mandatory requirement
    • Course resources include books and online resources.
    • You should have your own laptop or computer to access online resources and virtual learning environments.
