What you will study
In this course, you will learn how to:
- Develop and extend designs to create a cartoon
- Cut glass accurately
- Assemble glass projects using traditional processes
- Health and safety applicable to the above techniques

Assessment
You will complete practical tasks; your teacher will observe and give you feedback so that you develop your skills. There will also be informal learning checks to ensure you have understood and are making the progress you want. You will also complete an individual learning plan to support your learnt skills and knowledge. At the end of the course, there will be an informal assessment to check learning.

Moving Forward
Our learners use their skills in many different ways in their lives; some go on to sell their work and develop a small business. Others use their skills to find work or to climb the career ladder. Others take courses on other subjects at the local centre of London South East colleges, including the full-cost stained glass courses available.
