  • What you will study

    You’ll study the following core and mandatory units:

    • The Engineered World External
    • Investigating an Engineered Product
    • Interpreting and Using Engineering Information
    • Mathematics for Engineering
    • Health and Safety in Engineering

  • Entry Requirements

    Maths GCSE grade 4 or above, English GCSE grade 4 or above or English Language GCSE grade 3 or above and one science subject GCSE grade 4 or above.

  • Assessment

    Two units are externally assessed, where you will be required to sit an exam. Each other unit will require you to complete assignments which address specific unit criteria

  • Moving Forward

    Successful completion of the course allows progression on to a relevant Level 3 Engineering course or an apprenticeship

  • Duration

    1 year
